A Thing Of Beauty

 Picked up my new mountain bike today (no, that it's me in the picture!), and it truly is a thing of beauty. Took it out immediately (have to start working off some of that Christmas flab) and rode it till I was absolutely exhausted. I now feel utterly knackered and achey from my exertions, which just goes to show how unfit I am.

Not too much else happening today. Unfortunately I did have about £20 profit built-up on the Catania v Roma match this evening, but in the second half the pitch became ridiculously waterlogged, and it was rightly abandoned. Pity about my winnings, but the game had become farcical.

Beyond that I managed to run the wrong bot today (which was actually the malfunctioning one from last week), and this duly lost me £14. This is a tad annoying as I spent quite a bit of time building a new one and then went ahead and loaded up the wrong spreadsheet. Plonker.

So, if not for the bad bot and the abandoned match, I would have had a really good day. It was still reasonable even with these two deductions, so I shall not complain too much but, as we all like to do, it was a case of what might have been. Going out now, so I'll finish here:
